Creating smiles
through change.

Nsere (N-seh-reh) means laughter and joy in Twi — the language of Ghana. We exist to restore that joy in communities where economic challenges, exclusion, and lack of opportunity have taken it away.

Laughter and Joy — in Twi, the language of the Akan people of Ghana

Every program we run, every life we touch, is measured not only by what is solved — but by the smiles that follow. This is not charity. This is the restoration of joy.

Who We Are

A global humanitarian nonprofit
built on one belief.

Geography should not be destiny. A child born in an underserved community anywhere in the world — across Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond — deserves the same access to health, education, opportunity, and a thriving planet as anyone else on earth. Nsere Inc. is the organization building the systems that make that true.

We are a New York State incorporated Not-for-Profit Corporation, founded in 2026. Our name comes from Ghana. Our founding team spans New York, Accra, and Ivory Coast. Our first programs launch in Ghana and Ivory Coast in October 2026, with expansion to Nigeria in Year Two and into the Caribbean and other regions in the years that follow.

Nsere Elevate — Five Programs

From Grade 1 to the
Premier League and beyond.

Nsere Elevate is our first operational pillar and the home of five transformative programs forming an integrated pipeline of opportunity. Click each program to learn more.

🎓

All five programs below fall under Nsere Elevate

Nsere Elevate is the first of our four flagship pillars to launch. Our other three pillars — Nsere Health, Nsere Code, and Nsere Earth — are actively being developed and will each launch their own program portfolios in the coming years. The best is still to come.

Nsere Basic School Support Program
Every child deserves a seat in school.
+

In the communities Nsere Inc. serves, a child's access to education is not determined by their intelligence, their curiosity, or their hunger to learn. It is determined by whether their family can afford the fees. That reality is one of the most profound injustices in the world — and it is one we are determined to end, one child at a time.

The Nsere Basic School Support Program provides comprehensive financial support for children in Grades 1 through 9 at Nsere partner schools. Every enrolled child receives their school fees paid directly to the school, a complete set of uniforms at the beginning of each academic year, all books and learning supplies needed for the term, and a nutritious meal every single day they attend school. Nothing passes through the hands of families; every payment goes directly to the school, receipted and fully accountable.

We launch in Ghana and Ivory Coast in October 2026 with a pilot cohort of 25 children. In Year Two we expand into Nigeria, followed by further expansion globally — including into the Caribbean — in the years that follow. At approximately $700 per child per year, this is one of the most cost-efficient educational interventions in the world. These 25 children are the first chapter of a story that will grow to thousands.

Nsere Scholars Program
Brilliance deserves a chance to shine.
+

Somewhere in West Africa right now, there is a student who is the smartest person in their school. Their teachers know it. Their classmates know it. And they know it too — they feel the weight of a future they can almost touch but cannot quite reach, because the fees stand between them and the secondary school or university that would change everything.

The Nsere Scholars Program exists for that student. We identify outstanding but financially needy students at the secondary and tertiary levels and provide them with a complete scholarship: school fees paid directly to the institution, all books and learning supplies provided, and a monthly living stipend so that financial pressure never interrupts their ability to focus on their studies. Every scholar is paired with a professional mentor who walks with them through their academic journey and into their career.

At $680 to $1,480 per scholar per year depending on their level of study, the Nsere Scholars Program offers donors one of the most personal and profound giving experiences available; the knowledge that a specific brilliant young person completed their education because of their generosity.

Nsere Elite Pathway Program
One extraordinary student. One extraordinary opportunity. Every year.
+

Every year, Nsere Inc. makes one decision that has the power to change the entire trajectory of a family — for generations. We identify the single most exceptional student from within our program community and place them in one of the finest secondary schools available; whether that is a celebrated national institution like Achimota School in Ghana, a prestigious international school in West Africa, or an elite institution in the Caribbean where world-class secondary education meets extraordinary opportunity.

This is not simply about paying fees. The Nsere Elite Pathway Program covers everything: tuition, boarding, uniforms, books, preparation support, family counseling, and a dedicated mentor who guides the student through the transition into a demanding high-achievement environment. We understand that placing a child from a low-income background in an elite school without the right support can be as harmful as not placing them at all. We do this with depth, care, and an unwavering commitment to the student's success and wellbeing.

One student per year. One door opened. One family transformed. One community inspired. That ripple never stops.

Nsere Upskill Apprenticeship Africa Program
Skills. Independence. Dignity.
+

Not every pathway to a dignified, self-sufficient life runs through a classroom. For millions of young people across West Africa, the most direct road to economic independence is a skilled trade: the ability to wire a building, fix an engine, build a piece of furniture, or tailor a garment. The demand for these skills is real, urgent, and growing every day alongside rapid urbanization and economic development.

The Nsere Upskill Apprenticeship Africa Program removes the financial barriers that prevent talented young people from accessing this pathway. We connect aspiring tradespeople aged 16 to 35 with experienced local master tradespeople who train them in their chosen skill. Nsere Inc. pays the master trainer's fee, provides the apprentice with a monthly living stipend for the duration of their training, covers the cost of all tools and materials, and delivers post-training business skills coaching so graduates can launch their own businesses or enter employment with confidence.

The trades we support — electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, auto mechanics, welding, tailoring, and more — are chosen based on community demand. We are building for the economy that exists, not the economy we imagine.

Nsere Champions Pathway Program
From the pitch to the world.
+

Ghana has given the world Thomas Partey. Ivory Coast gave the world Didier Drogba. Nigeria gave the world Jay-Jay Okocha. These names are known in every corner of the football world. What is less known is how many equally talented players never made it; not because they lacked the ability, but because they lacked the pathway.

The Nsere Champions Pathway Program is built to close that gap. We identify exceptionally talented young footballers aged 13 to 18 within our partner school communities and build around them everything they need to be seen, evaluated, and placed on a pathway that matches their ability. Every athlete receives a professional video documentation package, technical and physical assessment, targeted academic support, and direct introductions to football academy scouts, university coaches, and scholarship program coordinators.

Our three pathway tracks target professional football academies in Europe and Africa including Right to Dream in Ghana; UK and US university athletic scholarships; and elite secondary schools with serious sports development programs across West Africa and the Caribbean. Basketball joins the program in Year Two. Because talent is equally distributed — opportunity should be too.

More programs are on the way

The five programs above are just the beginning. As Nsere Inc. grows, our other three flagship pillars will each develop their own transformative program portfolios. Watch this space.

Our Core Values

The beliefs that guide
everything we do.

🤝
Dignity

We see every person we serve as a full human being whose potential is not defined by their circumstances. We do not deliver charity; we restore opportunity to people who were never without the capacity to thrive.

⚖️
Equity

We believe opportunity should be determined by talent and determination; not by geography or the family you were born into. We exist to level a playing field that has been tilted for too long.

🔍
Accountability

Every dollar entrusted to us is a sacred responsibility. We manage it with transparency, integrity, and rigorous stewardship; and we report our results honestly, whether they confirm our hopes or challenge our assumptions.

🌍
Community

We do not impose change from the outside. We build it from within, with and for the communities we serve; because lasting transformation is never done to people. It is done with them.

Excellence

We hold ourselves to the highest standards in everything we do; in our governance, our programs, our communications, and our relationships. The people we serve deserve nothing less than our very best.

😊
Joy

Our name means laughter and joy in Twi. Joy is not just our goal; it is our measure of success. When a child walks into school in a new uniform, when a scholar receives their degree, when an athlete steps onto a European pitch — that smile is why we exist.
